Dorna's advance MotoGP equipment arrives in Thailand ahead of the 2026 season opener

Dorna Sports delivered the first equipment for PT Grand Prix of Thailand 2026 to Chang International Circuit after testing and season-launch activities in Malaysia. Its arrival marked the final preparations for Thailand's pre-season test on 21–22 February.

With one week to go before Thailand hosted the season opener, organisers released images of the first MotoGP freight containers arriving at Chang International Circuit in Buriram. The shipment followed testing at Sepang International Circuit and the Season Launch in Malaysia.

Teams completed the Sepang test in Malaysia on 3–5 February, with Gresini Racing's Alex Marquez setting the fastest time. The MotoGP 2026 season launch followed in Kuala Lumpur on 6–7 February, giving Asian fans a close look at the riders and new race bikes before the paddock moved to Thailand.

The first equipment delivery to Buriram marked the final preparations for Thailand's MotoGP 2026 season opener. It included infrastructure for race operations, the pit lane, live broadcasting, the paddock and surrounding facilities for teams, riders, media and spectators.

The Buriram Official Test on 21–22 February was the final official test before the season, giving fans a close-up view of the teams.

Race weekend, 27 February–1 March. PT Grand Prix of Thailand 2026 opens the racing season with a full programme of entertainment alongside the on-track action.

The announcement said tickets remained available through Counter Service All Ticket at 7-Eleven stores and online. Main race ticket holders were also entitled to free entry to the pre-season test under the published event offer.
